This project was the construction of a privately owned car park for visitors at a popular Pembrokeshire beach. It consisted of re-constructing an existing car park to a specifically designed standard which had to be empathetic to the local landscape/environment.
Specific car parking spaces & circulation roads with speed ramps were main features of the project. Although designed prior to tender, our client was receptive to any ideas we had and we were able to propose an alternative suggestion in respect of using recycled speed ramps as opposed to high specification ramps which were part of the initial design. These were accepted, and a significant saving was able to be passed back to our client.
The standard of work was first class and completed on time and budget, their workforce without exception were polite and helpful.

Client: Persimmon Homes

We completed this 68 plot site for Persimmon Homes in Haverfordwest. The site was particularly challenging logistically, and even more challenging from the point of view that our client was sales driven which meant our approach required a great degree of flexibility.
We were contracted to complete plot foundation works up to slab level, and complete all external works including drainage, services and all plot completion works once scaffolding was removed. We also completed the main estate road; surface water mains drainage including deep drainage and an attenuation tank, and foul water mains drainage including a packaged pumping station.
Programming work was a main consideration throughout the scheme. As well as being dependant on the sales of the plots, there was a need for our work activities to involve working alongside other trades and being able to complete certain things at certain times to suit all parties.
Client: Uzmaston Projects

Our client had plans to develop a mixed use site, consisting of a 4 unit office block and 13 residential plots. We were engaged initially as civils contractor to construct all estate roads, footpaths, services and drainage for the first phase of works which was the office block side of the site.
Once completed, we were then awarded the same work for the residential side of the site. In addition to the work described, we negotiated to complete plot foundation works and external works including driveways, drainage, plot services and all plot completion works.
The working relationship between ourselves and the client has extended beyond this scheme due to the success of the site. We have discussed future projects at an early stage, with early contractor involvement being a concept which our client has embraced.
